Now I'm in:
Oslo
I'm feeling: bouncy
As I've said in my profile I'm a devoted Harry Potter fan. There are a lot of HP fans here in Norway actually. So many in fact that some of them organized a live roleplay set in the Harry Potter world. We were back in the 70s during Voldemorts high time. The action was set at The Three Broomsticks and there were all kinds of people there. The action happened in Norwegian, so those of us who hadn't read the books in Norwegian had to learn a few new words beforhand. (That included me) So in full costume we all arrived at The Three Broomsticks. The laiv, as we call it in Norwegian, was full of action. I think eight or nine people were murdered, including me! I had to get a new role to play! It was actually quite fun. The only annoying thing about it was that my first role was as an auror so I han a lot of insight into the happenings. My second role was as Molly Weasleys brother, Fabian (yes, I played men the whole time... they didn't have enough female roles). The highlights of the whole weekend were 1) when Voldemort arrived... he was played by a friend of mine and he did it wonderfully!! It was so scary! 2) That a muggle had somehow gotten into The Three Broomsticks... But then it turned out that she wasn't a muggle at all, she was in fact a Death Eater (she was the one who killed me...). 3) Making fun of all the rich people while I played Fabian! They kept harrassing Madam Rosmerta and I imitated them!!
Anyway... HP roleplay is definately recommendable! Especially if its done well! Lots of FUN!
